Apple has acknowledged that some of the iPhone 11s on the market have substandard displays, and has announced plans to launch a free repair program.
They do not report technical glitches on the devices that contain this display, but point out that some units do not respond to touch due to a flaw in their display module.
However, they further point out that this problem only exists in the iPhone 11 models and does not affect the owners of the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models.
If you own an iPhone 11, go to the web page below and enter your iPhone’s serial number to find out if this low quality display problem applies to your phone.
If you have this problem, Apple is currently working to repair it for free, but you will need to take your mobile phone to an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
They also point out that if the screen of your mobile phone is already cracked, you will not be able to qualify for this free repaid program and will be charged for it.
Apple has further stated that only a “small number” of the iPhone 11 units manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 are facing this problem.
